Door staff and the scanner

Door staff use a separate app on their own phone. Sign in, pick the venue, scan.

What the venue does

1. Each door person creates a Spotly account.
2. The owner adds them to the venue as staff.
3. They install the scanner app and sign in.
4. They pick the venue.
5. They scan.

Two rules

Everyone gets their own account. Never share the owner's login. It is the only way the venue can tell who scanned what, and the owner's account reaches settings and billing.

Always scan, even when the door is quiet. Arrival data, no-show numbers and promoter payouts all come from scans. A door that waves people through leaves the venue's numbers wrong.
