Guest experience

The guest journey on the web

Everything the app does, in a browser, with no account required.

The public storefront. A guest who taps a venue's Instagram link lands here and can complete the whole journey without installing anything.

What the guest does · On the web

  1. Land on a venue page or an event page.
  2. Browse events, venues, beaches, or a map.
  3. Choose tickets, or a table with a date, party size and arrival time.
  4. Check out — an account is optional.
  5. Pay.
  6. Get the confirmation on screen and by email, with a QR code page.

Why it matters for the pitch

A venue's Instagram audience is its biggest asset, and most of them will not install an app to buy one ticket. The web path means that audience converts anyway.

Venues can have their own front door

A venue can point its own storefront domain at Spotly, so guests never appear to leave the venue's brand.

Important notes

If a venue uses its own domain and Apple Pay is missing at checkout, that domain needs registering on their Stripe account. Google Pay is unaffected — which is how you recognise it.
