Guest experience
Buying without an account
Guest checkout, and why it is a feature rather than a gap.
A guest can buy without creating an account. They give an email, pay, and their ticket arrives there and is viewable on the web.
Why a venue cares
Every step between "I want to go" and "I have paid" loses people. Forcing account creation on somebody buying a €15 ticket loses a meaningful share of them. This removes that step.
What a guest-checkout buyer gets
- The ticket or booking, with its QR code
- A confirmation email
- A web page they can return to
What they do not get
They are not added to the venue's marketing list. Guest accounts are deliberately excluded from marketing capture — which is correct, and worth saying to a venue that asks why a buyer is not in their email audience.
