Event content that sells
The fields that make a night look like something worth going to.
Spotly gives an event more room than most listing sites. Venues that use it sell more, and it costs them nothing but ten minutes.
The fields worth filling in
| Field | Why it earns its place |
|---|---|
| Poster | The single biggest driver of a tap. Required anyway. |
| Wide banner | An optional hero image for the event page. |
| Subtitle | One line under the title. Sets the tone. |
| Lineup | Ordered, with headliners flagged and roles like "Support". |
| Long description | Room to actually sell the night. |
| Gallery | Photos from previous nights. |
| Accent colour | Ties the event page to the artwork. |
| Age policy | Written, not just a number — "18+, ID required". |
Translations exist in the data
Event content can carry translations per language, with the original as the fallback. The data model supports it today, though there is no editing surface in the panel for it yet.
Important notes
A poster is required and there is no default. Encourage venues to keep artwork ready — the most common reason a night does not go up on time is that nobody sent the poster.
