Tables at an event
How an event's table setup can differ from the venue's normal night.
An event can use a different floor plan from the venue's usual one, and can override whether guests pick their own table.
What an event can override
- Which layout applies. A cleared floor for a big night, a full seating plan for a dinner show.
- Whether guests pick their own table. See The two booking modes.
- Which packages are on sale. Packages scoped to this event only, or the venue's usual ones.
- Automatic arrangement, for venues using real dimensions.
Packages on tables
Packages can be assigned to specific tables on the floor plan itself — drag the package onto the table. That is how "this booth comes with two bottles" is set up.
Important notes
When a venue sells table packages but has not finished assigning them to tables, Spotly deliberately hides the table map from guests rather than showing a half-configured floor. If a venue says "my guests cannot see the tables", check whether every package has a table.
