Events
Publishing an event
The single action that makes a night buyable, and the number one support question.
An event is either published or not. Unpublished, it is invisible to guests and nothing on it can be bought.
What unpublished actually blocks
It is not just visibility. Spotly refuses every attempt to put an unpublished event's tickets, tables or packages into a cart, and the guest is told:
This event isn't on sale yet — the organiser hasn't published it. Please check back soon.
That guard sits at every entry point, so there is no back door via a shared link.
Unpublishing
An event can be taken back off sale. Existing tickets stay valid — unpublishing stops new sales, it does not void what people already bought.
Important notes
This is the most common "why can nobody buy" question there is. Before investigating anything else, check whether the event is published. It costs five seconds and it is usually the answer.
