Ticketing
The guest checkout
What buying a ticket actually looks like, on the phone and on the web.
The guest picks their tiers and quantities, pays, and gets a ticket. It is the same flow on the app and on the web, and it does not require an account.
What the guest does · In the app
- Open the event.
- Choose tiers and quantities with steppers.
- Continue to payment.
- Pay with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Land on a confirmation, with the ticket in My Passes.
What the guest does · On the web
- Open the event page.
- Choose tiers and quantities.
- Enter an email — an account is optional.
- Pay.
- Get the ticket on screen and by email.
Payment methods
Card, and because Apple Pay and Google Pay ride the card rails, both wallets appear automatically. Nothing else is offered — no bank redirects, no buy-now-pay-later.
No account required
Guest checkout is a real, supported path. A person who clicks an Instagram link can buy without installing anything, and their ticket reaches them by email.
Important notes
Apple Pay needs the venue's checkout domain registered on their Stripe account. Google Pay does not. If a venue with a custom storefront domain says Apple Pay is missing, this is why — it is a one-time setting on their Stripe account, not a bug.
Common questions
Can a guest buy tickets for friends?
Yes — quantity is per tier, and a max-per-order cap only applies if the venue set one.
What if the payment fails?
The order fails, held stock is released automatically, and the guest can try again.
How fast does the confirmation email arrive?
It is sent after payment succeeds, by a background job — seconds, not instantly. The ticket is visible in the app immediately regardless.
