An event is not visible to guests

A venue says their event is not showing. Work through these in order.

1. Is it published?

This is the answer most of the time. An unpublished event is invisible and unbuyable. Check first, always.

2. Is the date in the future?

Past events drop out of the feeds guests browse.

3. Is it tagged?

An untagged event will not appear under any filter. It still exists and is still reachable by searching the venue, but a guest browsing by genre will never meet it.

4. Is the venue active and are they looking in the right place?

A venue with several locations may be checking the wrong one, and a deactivated venue does not appear at all.

Important notes

If all four check out and it is still missing, escalate. Do not start changing settings — you will lose the evidence of what was actually wrong.
