Payments
Getting paid — payouts
When the money reaches the venue's bank, and who controls that.
Money from guests lands in the venue's own Stripe account as each sale happens. Stripe then pays it out to their bank on its own schedule.
Spotly does not run payouts
There is no Spotly payout button, no Spotly payout schedule and no Spotly holding account. The payout relationship is between the venue and Stripe.
Where a venue checks
The venue can open their Stripe Express dashboard from the admin panel. That is where balances, payouts and payout schedules live — Stripe's own screens, with Stripe's own detail.
Charges and payouts are two separate switches
Stripe can enable a venue to take payments before it enables payouts. That is normal and it means the venue can sell while Stripe finishes verifying where to send the money. The panel shows both.
Important notes
A partner never gets a link into a venue's Stripe dashboard. It shows balances and bank details. Only the venue and Spotly's own team have that.
Common questions
How often does Stripe pay out?
On Stripe's schedule for that account and country, which the venue can see and adjust in their own dashboard. Spotly does not set it.
Can a venue sell before payouts are enabled?
Yes, if charges are enabled. The money accumulates and is paid out once Stripe is satisfied.
