Getting into the admin panel
Signing in, and the two things that go wrong on the first attempt.
The admin panel is a website. Staff sign in with their Spotly email and password and land on their venue.
Two things that stop people
A guest account cannot sign in. If someone tries the account they use to go out, they will be refused. They need staff access on that email — the same address, upgraded, not a second one.
They have to be attached to the venue. A manager who exists but has not been added to the venue will sign in and see nothing useful.
What they see first
The control page: tonight's service, pending booking requests, upcoming events, and the numbers worth glancing at. It is a place to work from rather than a report.
Important notes
The panel is currently being redesigned, so some screens are the new design and some are the older one. Both work. Pages in this chapter say which surface they describe.
