Walk-ins and manual bookings
Putting someone in the book who never touched the app.
Not every guest books online. Staff can create a booking themselves with just a name and a phone number, and it lands on the floor like any other.
What the venue does
- From the reservations list or the live floor, create a booking.
- Enter the guest's name and phone, the party size and the time.
- Assign a table, or leave it for later.
- It behaves exactly like an online booking from here.
Why this matters commercially
A venue that keeps half its bookings outside Spotly gets half the value: its floor view is wrong, its guest history has holes, and its numbers understate the night. Walk-in entry is what makes the panel the single source of truth rather than one of two books.
Managers can also edit their own walk-ins afterwards — fields, and the tables assigned to them.
