Venue onboarding
Go-live checklist
What has to be true before a venue is genuinely operational.
The list to run before you tell a venue they are live. Every item is something a guest or a manager will hit on the first night if it is missing.
The venue exists and looks right
- Name, address and the map pin are correct
- Description is written and reads like the venue, not like a form
- Cover and profile images are real photographs, not placeholders
- Gallery has several photos
- Opening hours are set for all seven days
- Contact email and phone are ones somebody actually reads
People can get in
- The owner can sign into the admin panel
- At least one manager has their own account
- Door staff have their own accounts and can sign into the scanner
Reservations work
- A floor plan exists and is set active
- Tables have seats, prices and useful names
- The booking mode is the one the venue wants
- A test booking has been made, accepted and scanned
Selling works
- Payments status reads Payments enabled — if the venue will take money
- At least one event exists, is tagged, and is published
- Ticket types are active and inside their sales window
- A test purchase has been made and the ticket scanned
The venue knows what to do
- They know where reservations arrive and how to accept one
- They know how to open the live floor
- They know how the door scans people in
- They know who to contact when something is wrong
Important notes
A venue that will take money is not live until payments actually work. A venue record existing is not the same as a venue being operational. Check the status reads Payments enabled before you say the word "live".
