Event reporting

Each event has a console: four headline numbers, a live feed of sales as they land, and tabs for reservations, tickets and add-ons with the buyer lists underneath.

The four headline numbers

• Ticket revenue — what the venue earns from tickets
• Add-on revenue — what it earns from packages
• Tickets issued, against capacity
• Reservations

The live feed

Sales appear as they happen. During an on-sale a venue can watch it move, which is both useful and genuinely enjoyable to demo.

"If everything sells"

The console shows what the night is worth if every capped tier and every limited package sells out. It uses the venue's own take, not the guest-facing price, so it is an honest ceiling rather than a flattering one.

Uncapped tiers and unlimited packages cannot contribute a finite number, so they are counted separately and named under the figure rather than silently ignored.

Important notes

Ticket counts split into paid, via a package and comped. A venue comparing "tickets issued" to "ticket revenue" without noticing the split will think the numbers disagree.
