Ticketing
Packages that include admission
When a bottle package carries entry with it, and the capacity trap that follows.
A package — a bottle service, a table deal — can include admission. Buying it mints real tickets for the guest, with their own QR codes, without them buying entry separately.
Why a venue cares
It is how a club actually sells a table: "€400, includes two bottles and entry for six." Making the guest buy six tickets and then a package is the wrong shape and loses sales.
What the venue does
- Create the package in the add-ons catalogue.
- Attach the ticket types it includes, and how many of each.
- Sell it. Buying it issues those tickets to the guest automatically.
Important notes
A bundled ticket does not draw down its tier's allocation. A tier's total is its standalone allocation only, so a venue with 100 GA tickets and 20 packages that each include entry for two is admitting up to 140 people.
This is the single easiest way for a venue to oversell a room, and the panel does not warn them. Raise it when a venue sets up packages with entry included.
